What hygiene precautions do you have in place?I have always been meticulous with kit hygiene having always thoroughly cleaned my kit after every job, using disposables and hand sanitiser all along anyway. However I have implemented even more precautions due to the current pandemic and taken Covid-19 certifications with both Barbicide and Screenskills for make up artists so am fully aware of best practices for sanitising, disinfecting and sterilisation of my kit and how to keep myself and my clients safe. Full PPE will be used following government guidelines.

What is airbrush make up?Airbrushing uses the power of compressed air to deliver a fine mist of foundation on to the skin via an airbrush gun. This gives a lightweight yet long wear foundation finish, that looks flawless in person and on camera including HD. A major advantage of the silicone based make up that I use, is that it lasts all day and is more water resistant than regular foundation, which means it will hold up especially through all the kissing and hugging that will happen on a wedding day. It is the perfect option for any special occasion make up.
-
Do you have experience working on black skin?Yes I pride myself in being inclusive and can do make up on all skin tones from the palest to the darkest of skins from my fully stocked professional make up kit.

What are your bridal fees?Every wedding make up services quote is as uniques as the wedding is. Different factors need to be taken into account such as the numbers in the bridal party, the getting ready/venue location and also if it is a wedding day booking (with you until you leave for the ceremony) or an all day wedding day booking. Other fees such as travel and accommodation may need to be factored in to the quote to. That's why filling in the bridal bookings form with as much information as possible allows me to give you an accurate quote for your wedding day make up services. Click here to fill in the form.

What areas do you cover for make up bookings?I am London based but travel the UK and to worldwide destinations for my bridal/make up clients.
-
Do you charge travel fees?My prices cover London bookings with no extra fees added. Should I need to travel outside of London (UK or abroad) then mileage and/or travel expenses apply and if over 2 hrs distance to get to my make up client, then accommodation fees will also apply the night before an event or wedding.

What do I need for my bridal trial?I recommend that my brides wear a colour top, shirt or dress similar to the colour they will be getting married in, so they can take pictures and see clearly how they will look on their big day. Wearing big prints for e.g can detract from the make up and also can make it look way too much, you will be surprised how different that same make up can look with a paler colour on. Have pictures, swatches, photos of the dress etc. so we can discuss during the consultation at the start of the bridal trial. A cleansed skin is all that is needed as I will use all my skincare products in order to ensure that the make up application lasts.
-
How long is a bridal trial?Trials last up to 2 1/2 hrs and so are recommended to start between 10am and 12pm noon so that Brides can see not only how good their make up looks in different lights from day to evening but that they also see how the make up holds for the day.
-
Do you take deposits?A retainer booking fee of £40 is required to hold your trail date and pencil in your wedding date in my BEAUT bridal diary. This fee will be deducted from the bridal trial fee so that only the balance remaining will be required in cash or by bank transfer on the day prior to me leaving the trial. Wedding Day deposits are required within 48hrs of your bridal trial in order to fully secure me as your bridal make up artist for your big day.
-
When do I pay my final balance?Final invoices are sent a month before the wedding day with balances for bridal bookings due at the latest 14 days prior to your wedding date.
-
Are you insured?Yes I am fully insured to carry out my make up services and beauty services and also PAT test my electrical equipment yearly is also a requirement for wedding and event suppliers wishing to work in certain wedding venues.
-
Is it just you or do you have additional make up artists who can help you with large bridal parties?Yes I have a BEAUT team of make up artists who are fully trained and insured make up professionals that work with me on larger bridal parties, corporate events and catwalk shows.
-
How long will each make up take on the day of my wedding?Brides get a full hour scheduled in the make up chair to perfect her bridal look, party members get 45 minutes each, this allows for a relaxed bridal morning with some wiggle room should you need it. A wedding schedule is sent to you ahead of the wedding day.
-
What make up products do you use?I have a very extensive make up kit with high quality, high performance products from all of the top brands such as Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown, Charlotte Tilbury, Becca etc, I also use a professional brand of silicone based airbrush foundation by temptu. To view my kit which gets updated all the time, see my Instagram highlights here.
-
I have sensitive skin, will your products be ok for me?"I stock products in my make up kit for all skin types including those that have sensitive skins, eczema, rosacea and blemish prone skin. It is also great to use airbrush make up on those with reactive or sensitive skins as the foundation is applied via a mist of foundation so there isn't the need for as many brushes or sponges on the skin.
